Maybe We'll Have Bubbles

People come to me at important moments.

The ones that matter. An engagement. A milestone birthday. A chapter closing and another one beginning. A transformation in form.

They arrive, we sit, maybe we have some bubbles, and somewhere in that first conversation, something shifts. Suddenly I'm not just a jewellery designer taking a brief. I'm hearing about a relationship, dreams, life.

By the time we've gone back and forth on the design, refining, adjusting, getting it exactly right, I know these people. Not just what they want. Who they are.

It's a short, intense interaction in a lifetime. But for this window of time, there's a genuine connection.

When the piece arrives and I see their reaction, I feel like I am a  fairy sprinkling magic around.. Arriving briefly in someone's story at exactly the right moment, doing something meaningful together, and then sending them forward carrying something beautiful.
