Parti Sapphire..And Why We're Obsessed!

I love Parti Sapphires.

Named for its ability to carry multiple colours within a single gem, the Parti Sapphire is one of nature's most extraordinary creations. Teal, green, blue, yellow all four at once, shifting with every movement, every light, every angle. No two are ever the same. That's not a marketing line. That's just the truth of this stone.

I've always been drawn to teal, green and blue, they're my colours, the ones I come back to again and again. When I discovered that a single sapphire could hold all three at once, it felt almost too good to be true. 

Where they come from

Why no two are alike

This is what I love most about working with Parti Sapphires, every single stone is a completely unique composition of colour. When I'm designing a ring, I choose the stone first, selecting the specific hues that feel right for that particular piece. Sometimes I'm drawn to a stone that's predominantly teal with flashes of green. Sometimes it's a deep blue that shifts to sage in certain light. The stone informs the design, not the other way around.
