Adornment Is Instinct.

In the evening, when you take off all your jewellery,
I hope you know, you are a queen.
Wearing it is simply the embodiment of that truth,
a reminder of who you are.
It is instinct,
how we translate emotion into form.
This beauty was given to us by Nature.
Gold formed in the earth,
pearls shaped by water,
gemstones, awaiting to be discovered.
We don’t wear jewellery to impress,
but to express.
To play.
To not take it seriously,
or to, completely.
I find myself in an abundant chapter of life,
one that will soon translate into new pieces,
each a way to return,
to remember, and embody the queen within.
From the masculine structure I lived in for a while,
I’ve allowed the feminine balance to unfold,
where things are fluid, softer,
and still deeply harmonious.
I am, after all, a Pisces,
someone who’s always followed life’s currents,
and now I am swimming freely.
Maybe that’s what adornment really is,
a dialogue within, between the seen and unseen,
a reminder to play, and to play with life.
And you? How do your pieces remind you of your own magic?
With Love
